Other personal data that you actively provide, for example, through registration on our website, in correspondence, and by phone.

Legal obligations

A small part of our processing activities is legally required. This mainly involves personal data needed to fulfill our tax obligations.

Occasionally, we send newsletters and/or mailings. Sometimes these are personalized based on certain actions you have taken or products and/or services you receive from us. You always have the option to adjust your preferences for receiving newsletters and mailings.

Automated decision-making

Euroradar does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you.

Data subject rights

Under the GDPR, everyone has several rights. We do our utmost to comply with them as best as possible. Do you have tips or comments? Let us know! To exercise your rights, you can contact us at info@euroradar.nl.

  • Information and access: of course, you can see which personal data we process about you. We would also be happy to tell you more about how and why we process that data.
  • Rectification: do you think we have incorrect data about you? Let us know, and we’ll correct it.
  • Erasure: you can delete the personal data we have about you. We may still need to process that data for other purposes (e.g., for administrative or deduplication purposes).
  • Restriction: if you think we are unlawfully or incorrectly processing your personal data, you can also request to limit that processing.
  • Objection: you may object to the processing of your personal data. If it concerns marketing, we will stop that processing as soon as possible.
  • Portability: this is a new right under the GDPR to have your personal data transferred. If you wish to use this right, please contact us.

Additionally, you can also:

  • Withdraw consent: for example, for receiving emailings. If you want to withdraw consent for another type of processing, please contact us at info@euroradar.nl.
  • File a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (AP): if you believe we are not acting in accordance with the privacy legislation, please let us know. You can also file a complaint with the AP.

How long do we retain your personal data?

Personal data should not be kept longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we have received or collected the data and any statutory obligations to retain data.

If you have requested a quote from us but have not become a client, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. Similarly, if we have received a quote from you but have not become a client, we will delete your personal data no later than two years after our last contact. If you have become a client of ours or we have become your client, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. This seven-year period corresponds to the period within which we are required to retain our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

Legal grounds for processing

As explained above, we process some data to comply with a legal obligation, some to perform an agreement, and most for the legitimate interest of Euroradar: achieving our business goals. If you would like to know more about our consideration of legitimate interest, please contact us.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with fulfilling a potential agreement with you, we may need to provide your personal data to parties that supply products and/or services to us or perform work on our behalf. Furthermore, we use external server space for storing (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, which includes your personal data. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider.

We take the protection of your data seriously and implement appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration. If you believe that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@euroradar.nl.
